Dear Competitor,
Regarding the recent announcements which have informed of cancellations of the first two rounds of the LHMC Rallycross Winter Series we realise this has disappointed some competitors, particularly those who have been preparing their cars during the winter months to get them ready in time for these events.
We completely understand the frustrations this may have caused but unfortunately the circumstances on both occasions were completely out of our control.
As per our news release yesterday you will be aware that the LHMC/BTRDA/MDA event is still scheduled to go ahead on the 6th March as planned and you should have received the entry form within the said communication allowing you to enter what will be our first Championship event of 2010.
To try and alleviate some of this disappointment we have scheduled into our calendar a Rallycross 'Track Day' which will take part on Saturday 20th February - This is the perfect opportunity to test your cars ahead of the 6th March event in a non-competitive environment.
For this event will be an 'open pitlane' throughout the entire day, which ensures you will get maximum track and testing time and weather permitting (!) the loose sections will be used.
The gates will be open to anyone wishing to attend as either a guest or spectator completely free of charge.
Any competitor with a valid MSA licence is invited to take part in the Rallycross track day, passengers are also allowed at a mininal cost of just £20 each, so a perfect chance to impress those potential sponsors!
To enter the Rallycross trackday costs only £100 for the full day (9.00am - 5.00pm), simply telephone the circuit office on 01304 830557 and speak to Maria or Jay who will happily affirm your booking.
