The 2010 MSA British Rallycross Championship will be sponsored by transmission specialist Quaife.
The Kent-based automotive engineering company has a long and successful association with Rallycross and was previously title sponsor for the British championship in 2006. "We are delighted to be associated with the MSA British Rallycross Championship again. The Quaife name has been synonymous with success in Rallycross for more than three decades and we recognise the immense challenge that Rallycross offers both to competitors and to component manufacturers such as ourselves. The high profile of the British Rallycross Championship makes it an ideal marketing platform for us," said Quaife marketing director Sharon Quaife-Hobbs.

Quaife were also championship sponsors in 2006 where Irishman Christopher Evans won his last title
The new title sponsor has been introduced by Lydden Hill Motorsport Club (LHMC) boss Amy Doran. LHMC won a three-year contract (covering 2010, ’11 and ’12) to promote the MSA British Rallycross Championship during the summer and Doran says she was moved to secure a new title sponsor by competitor opinion. "The championship has been backed by Kumho Tyres for the last three years, we have a good relationship with Kumho have enjoyed a successful period for the championship with its involvement. However, a large number of Rallycross competitors would prefer not to have a control tyre in the British championship, that was only reason that we sought a new title sponsor. Quaife is an ideal partner for the MSA British Rallycross Championship because it supplies competitors across the sport and has a long-standing association with Rallycross – I'm very pleased to be working with everyone at Quaife again," said Doran.
LHMC has also extended associate sponsorship deals with spark plug manufacturer NGK and motor sport equipment retailer NickyGrist.com, both of which were introduced to the championship during the 2009 season.
The 2010 Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship will be run for the Supercar and SuperModified categories and will allow free tyre choice within those classes. The championship events will also include the new Suzuki Swift one-make series, Junior Rallycross and RX150s. The BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship will continue to support British championship events in 2010.
